 PRAYER / KARAKIA ROOM

“Prayer is the secret place where we find God waiting for us.”

“Prayer is the door we enter to discover God’s heart of unending grace.”

“Prayer is the home we have always wanted, where we can crawl into our Father’s lap.”

“Prayer is a priceless gift.” ~ quotes on prayer from Dr. Derwin L. Gray

The Pastoral Care Ministry Team are excited to let the Raleigh Street Christian Centre community know we have a newly appointed quiet space for prayer.

Alongside the Pastoral Care Team, the Elders are also available to meet and pray with church family and our wider community.  On Friday afternoons the prayer room is open immediately following the Community Playgroup & Nourish Café.  Jeremy and Kath Lind are present and available to share a cuppa and pray with you.

Our Pastoral Care Ministry team currently consists of Heather Joubert, Debbie Barham, Christine Suisted and Cobus & Jossette Kilian (Pastoral Care for Southern African immigrants).  You can find more information about who they are on our website https://www.rscc.co.nz/pastoral-care_1/

Please feel free to reach out via email at office@rscc.co.nz or Jeremy Lind jeremy@rscc.co.nz if you wish to meet with someone from the pastoral care team and/or elders for prayer.

Matthew 6:9-13
“This, then, is how you should pray:
“‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.'"
