Childrens Ministries (0-12)
This children’s programme is a great way to learn values and truth from the Bible in an exciting environment.
Our teachers are great, and work on variety and relevance in teaching the children. The children go to Rumpus Room just before our Bible Teaching.
Junior Rumpus Room (Ages 3-5 years)
Junior Rumpus Room bridges the gap from See & Know (Toddlers Program) to Rumpus Room. Children take part in music along with the older children in Rumpus Room, and then break into a smaller group with age-appropriate Bible centred teaching and lots of hands-on activities to keep little minds busy.
The Nursery (for under 12 months)
Children need to be supervised by their own parents and caregivers. We do however have one créche worker available each week to help with set up and the tidying up of toys etc. The service is being relayed via video link to the nursery.
The Toddlers (12 months to 3 years)
Toddlers créche is fully supervised during the service (10:00am) by three créche workers, but parents are welcome to stay. Please make sure to sign your child(ren) in and out, and to put a name tag sticker on them. For security reasons we will also hand you a card when you drop off your child(ren). Please bring this along when you come to pick up your child again. During the program we will be running a 10 minute teaching segment with the children called ‘See & Know’, which will be followed by a snack.
Godzone
Godzone is a programme for school years 9 & 10 to link the gap between Rumpus Room and church. We look at a variety of topics dealing with real life issues and studies from the Bible. It runs at the same time as Rumpus Room during the service approx three times a month.
Girls Rally
Hobbies, games, devotions, and many other activities are used to teach practical skills, teamwork, and Christian values.
Girls Rally is held every Thursday night from 6:45-8:30pm. Girls from 7 years and older may attend.
Iconz runs every Monday evening at the Rally Hall from 6:45pm to 8:30pm during the school terms. It caters for boys from 8 years of age to Year 8 (Form 2). The programme is run by a team of leaders and a wide variety of activities is undertaken.
