CAP

The Cambridge CAP Centre is one our newest ministries here at RSCC, and has its official launch on Sunday the 1St of August, here at RSCC.

What is CAP?

CAP (Christians Against Poverty) is a debt counselling charity which works in partnership with the local church to provide a free service for people who are struggling with unmanageable debt.  CAP together with RSCC provides hope and a solution for people in our community who would otherwise not have access to a professional and free debt counselling service.  With financial expertise, general advice and practical support CAP draws up a sustainable budget and workable route out of debt, empowering clients to take control of their finances.

Here at the RSCC CAP Centre, we will work on building relationships with every client – to support them, educate them and help them rebuild their lives.

How can I be involved?

CAP in partnership with RSCC is a whole church ministry working in our local community to help people in a very practical way and through this having the opportunity to share with them the love of Christ.

Support Workers are a vital part of the CAP Centre ministry and are needed to come on client visits, befriending and building relationships with clients, helping clients with day to day practical tasks and so much more.

Prayer is also vital to CAP as we reach out to our community into the hearts and lives of people. We need prayer for this ministry, for the clients we come in contact with and for all those involved in this ministry.

Who can I contact?
